Please read these terms carefully before using CrowdWave. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the CrowdWave platform (including our website and mobile application), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. CrowdWave reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
2. User Eligibility
To use CrowdWave, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid government-issued ID
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Be legally permitted to use our services in your jurisdiction
CrowdWave reserves the right to verify user information and suspend accounts that violate these requirements.
3. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Not share your login credentials with third parties
- Accept full responsibility for all activities under your account
CrowdWave is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account access due to your negligence.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use CrowdWave for any unlawful or prohibited purposes, including but not limited to:
- Shipping illegal items, weapons, hazardous materials, or counterfeit goods
- Engaging in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfering with the normal operation of the platform
- Posting false or misleading information
- Engaging in money laundering or terrorist financing
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
5. Sender Responsibilities
As a sender, you are responsible for:
- Accurately describing your package contents and weight
- Ensuring packages are properly packaged and labeled
- Complying with all applicable shipping regulations
- Providing accurate delivery address and recipient information
- Declaring the value of items for insurance purposes
- Not shipping prohibited or illegal items
- Paying all applicable fees and charges
CrowdWave is not responsible for packages that are improperly packaged or contain prohibited items.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
As a traveler, you are responsible for:
- Safely transporting packages to their destination
- Handling packages with care and protecting them from damage
- Delivering packages within the agreed timeframe
- Providing proof of delivery as requested
- Maintaining accurate travel route information
- Complying with all applicable transportation laws
- Not opening or tampering with packages
Travelers who fail to meet these responsibilities may face account suspension, loss of earnings, or legal action.
7. Payment & Fees
Sender Fees: Senders agree to pay the shipping fees displayed at the time of booking. Fees are non-refundable unless the delivery is not completed due to CrowdWave's fault.
Traveler Earnings: Travelers earn credits for each completed delivery. Earnings are calculated based on distance, package weight, and demand. Earnings can be withdrawn to a verified bank account or used as credits on the platform.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels. CrowdWave uses third-party payment processors and is not responsible for payment processing errors by these providers.
Refund Policy: Refunds are issued only in cases of delivery failure, package loss, or damage covered by insurance. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the incident.
8. Insurance & Liability
Automatic Coverage: Every package is automatically insured up to €500. Additional coverage is available for high-value items at an additional cost.
Coverage Limitations: Insurance does not cover:
- Items improperly packaged or labeled
- Prohibited or illegal items
- Damage due to natural disasters or acts of God
- Loss due to sender or traveler negligence
- Items not declared at the time of booking
Liability Limitation: CrowdWave's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the insurance coverage amount or €500, whichever is less. CrowdWave is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute between a sender and traveler, CrowdWave's support team will mediate and attempt to reach a fair resolution. The process includes:
- Initial investigation of the claim within 48 hours
- Review of evidence provided by both parties
- Fair and impartial decision based on platform policies
- Implementation of the resolution within 5 business days
If either party is unsatisfied with the resolution, they may pursue legal action in accordance with applicable laws. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
10. Ratings & Reviews
Users are encouraged to rate and review their experiences. However, you agree not to:
- Post false or misleading reviews
- Use reviews to harass or defame other users
- Post reviews for transactions you did not complete
- Offer incentives for positive reviews
CrowdWave reserves the right to remove false or inappropriate reviews and suspend users who violate these guidelines. Ratings directly impact user trust scores and may affect account standing.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of CrowdWave is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Your data is used to:
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud
- Process payments and manage transactions
- Improve our services and user experience
- Communicate with you about your account
- Comply with legal obligations

12. Intellectual Property
All content on the CrowdWave platform, including logos, text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of CrowdWave or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without permission
- Modify or create derivative works from our content
- Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrowdWave shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Business interruption or loss of business opportunity
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
- Third-party actions or content
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to CrowdWave in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrowdWave, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these terms
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of any applicable law
- Your infringement of third-party rights
- Content you post or transmit
15. Termination
CrowdWave may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:
- Violation of these terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Repeated complaints from other users
- Failure to comply with verification requirements
- Inactivity for an extended period
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Outstanding balances remain due.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CrowdWave is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and CrowdWave regarding your use of the platform. This agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
